Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) shall be applicable to you when you purchase a subscription in our App, “Turong Wika – Learn Filipino”, as available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store (hereinafter individually as well as collectively, referred to as the “Platform”, “App”, “Site”, or “Website”).
Please read this Policy carefully, as it forms a binding agreement between you and Turong Wika. This Policy shall be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
DEFINITIONS
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all the capitalized terms used in this Policy shall have the same meaning as ascribed to them in the Terms of Service.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
We use our best endeavor to provide accurate and materially complete descriptions of all the services, subscriptions, and features. However, we do not warrant that such descriptions will always be accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to bring new features, and/or take out certain features of our services at any time at our sole discretion.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION
Subscriptions on Turong Wika renew automatically to provide uninterrupted access to our premium features and services. Users may cancel their subscription at any time. If you choose to cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle.
REFUNDS
We understand that users may have different reasons for canceling their subscriptions. For those who choose to cancel mid-billing cycle, their subscription will only end at the end of their billing period. Hence, there are no refunds for the subscription availed.
RIGHTS OF EU USERS
For users in the European Union (EU), you have the right to a 14-day “cooling-off” period under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This means you can cancel your subscription within 14 days of subscribing to the paid plan and receive a full refund, for any reason or no reason at all. If you have accessed and used our services for certain days within the 14-day withdrawal period, you may not be eligible for a full refund. In such cases, we may offer a partial refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Refunds are typically processed within seven (7) business days. Please allow for processing time, which may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
REFUNDS ON THE APPLE APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY STORE
APPLE APP STORE
Apple does not allow us to issue refunds on behalf of users. If you made a purchase using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not Turong Wika.
So, if you have purchased the subscription through Apple in-app purchases, you will need to contact Apple customer support directly for a refund. According to Apple, certain purchases from the App Store might be eligible for a refund. Refund eligibility on Apple might vary by country or region. See the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions for details.
Process of Refund:
As per Apple, you can use any device with a web browser to request a refund. The process is as follows:
a) Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com.
b) Tap or click “I’d like to,” then choose “Request a refund.”
c) Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.
d) Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit. If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.
Why am I unable to request a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com?
If the charge is pending, you can’t request a refund yet. After the charge goes through, try to request a refund again.
If you have an unpaid order, you need to pay for that order before you request a refund. You might need to update your payment information. To do this, click here.
If you don’t know why you were charged, review your family member’s purchases. If you’re the family organizer, tap or click the Apple ID button, then choose All. Purchases charged to your shared payment method appear.

GOOGLE PLAY STORE
If you have purchased a subscription on an Android device using Google Play Store in-app purchases, then the following refund policy shall apply to you.
Refund Policy applicable to all (regardless of where you are from):
If it’s been less than 48 hours since you bought an app or made an in-app purchase, you may be eligible to get a refund, subject to the approval of Google. You can request a refund from Google here.
If you find a Google Play purchase on your card or other payment method that you didn’t make and that wasn’t made by anyone you know, report unauthorized charges within 120 days of the transaction by clicking here.
You can apply for a refund once. If you buy the subscription of Turong Wika again, you can’t get a refund.
If a refund is issued, you’ll lose access to the subscription immediately.
All refunds under this Section are subject to the approval of Google.
Refund Policy applicable to Subscribers residing in the EU or European Economic Area:
For subscribers residing in the EU or European Economic Area – in accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund without stating the reason during the 14 days after the subscription begins, subject to a few exceptions. Please note that this 14-day period commences when the subscription starts.

If a refund is issued, you’ll lose access to the subscription immediately.
Refund Policy applicable to Subscribers residing in the Republic of Korea:
For subscribers residing in the Republic of Korea – in accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund during the 7 days following the purchase, subject to a few exceptions. Please note that this 7-day period commences upon the purchase of the subscription.

If a refund is issued, you’ll lose access to the subscription immediately.
Refund Policy applicable to Subscribers residing in the State of California:
For subscribers residing in the State of California (USA) – in accordance with local law, you may cancel your subscription and request a refund at any time prior to midnight of the 3rd business day following the date you subscribed.
You can request a refund from Google here.
If a refund is issued, you’ll lose access to the subscription immediately.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Unless provided by the relevant statute, rules, or directives applicable to the jurisdiction in which you reside, in case of any claims, disputes, or controversies arising out of or in relation to the services, or this Policy, the same shall be dealt with as per the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution clause as mentioned in the Terms of Service.
UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may add to, change, or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time, from time to time, entirely at our own discretion, with or without any prior written notice. You are responsible for checking this Policy periodically. Your use of the platform after any amendments to this Policy shall constitute your acceptance to such amendments.
